Mose Alison swingin' on the radio Driving to the Valley Ho Stickin your thighs to the red naugahyde Ordering a hot cup of Joe Imposible curves back at the Clarendon Mosaic platinum and gold Purple dessert hills in the dyin' light Phoenix is rising here tonight Mid-Century Modern girl, doin' the Fandango Mid-Century Modern girl, stompin' on the hardwood floor Water falling down the plexiglass walls A paradise of sunshine and chrome Starlight shining down the bottom of the pool You can see it from the rooftop bar We're gonna see Sedona tonight Sagueros and pink bungalows Don't take a picture of her Airstream trailer man She thinks you're gonna foreclose her Mid-Century Modern girl, doing the Fandango Mid-Century Modern girl, stompin on the hardwood floor Going to drive to the Canyon in the dawn's early light And listen to our shouts echo Maybe walk a path to the bottom one day And watch my ticker explode Fried cheese and hot sauce heaped on a plate With microbrew Rattlesnake Beer "Get bit" A reporter got killed here on this very day It all happened right here in this place Mid-Century Modern girl, doing the Fandango Mid-Century Modern girl, stompin' on the hardwood floor And the sun is strong, a drought's coming on Where is the water. And the sun is strong, a drought's coming on Where is the water.

The sun comes up on another day The sky is grey and blue I'm lying here in my big old bed First thing you know I'm thinking about you This day you are another year older honey And it sure looks good on you I hope you're missing me and wondering if I sit around thinking about you Those big eyes shine like diamonds That smile so bright and true And how wonderfully you've shown Your heart to me Now I just sit around thinking about you And how wonderfully you've shown Your heart to me Now I just sit around thinking about you And carefully you show your heart to me I just around thinking about you

I've been working like a dog all day Well not really that's a lie But doing nothing can really take a toll on a guy She says"baby come on, you need to get out of this place" "You've been cooped up way too long" "I'll even put my gold Ford stilettos on" I said OK. When you swing those long legs round in the seat I start thinking I could write a libretto You only like to wear 'em when we go uptown With the Galaxy shining and the ragtop down It's not like we'll be out walking Just like to get out there in style But when we get home later babe, leave 'em on for awhile Talking 'bout those Gold Ford Stilettos When you swing those long gams out on the floor It ain't nothing like they've got in the ghetto Only takes a little bit of something you got To make a grown man think he's really livin' it up Now I'm happy as a clam these days somethings cooking' all the time Especially when those Gold Ford Stilettos start to shine Talking 'bout those Gold Ford Stilettos

Honeybee 03:26
Flying high above the trees 'Landing on a lilly leaf Drawn to crimson repartee, oh honeybee Buzzin' round the crooked fence On the balm and on the scent Finding all the sweetest plants, honeybee Powder pickin' for their friends What everybody needs Sweeter than the breeze Like birds believe in trees I believe in honeybee As sure as anyone can tell There won't be a person left to fall for anything Without a honeybee or anyone What everybody wants Sweeter than a song Like you need the trees to breath You're gonna a need a honeybee How's a body supposed to know How it happens , how to tell Seems we need to keep the peace with honeybee Little wings beating strong Hauling all that honey home A humming hive in harmony, honeybee A single sting will be the end, of honeybee Little wonder Honeybee

Blueberry 03:30
Blueberry, about to appear on the vine Can't wait to see you come summertime When you open your eyes For the very first time The first thing you are going to see are People in love Like out of the blue , a gift from above Looking at 2 people in love Blueberry all fresh and shiny new Wont be long until they're holding you When you wave your arms around You know what you're going to do ? You'll be reaching out for people in love Like out of the blue a gift from a hove Touching 2 people in love That's when you'll say "how lucky am I" When you look up into those thankful eyes When the light of day shines down on you Your first breath will fill their hearts too Blueberry, growing up all well and strong That's our wish for you As you travel along When you tell your story some day You might sing us a song It's gonna about people in love Like out of the blue a gift from above You just might say "how lucky am I"

The Florida coastline turns into a thin line From way up here. Egrets and waiters and white alligators have all disappeared And palm trees and cobblestone streets sure had their charm At the Fountain of Youth We learned about Ponce De Leon It was so nice to walk the town square with nothing on But we're going home Through the eye of the storm We're going home We're over Chicago, some day maybe we'll go But now we're prairie bound They're salting the runway and clearing the pathways as we touch down And shades of white and grey are all you see Our cab drivers new door was stolen within a week His new wife is so darn smart she can read his mind And the cat's in the window as we pull into the drive It's good to be home In the eye of the storm It's good to be home With a flood coming on Now Fargo is bracing because they are facing Yet another rise Water is dangerous and friends and strangers are building a dike The inevitable crest will make its way to you As the river out back rises up I get a better view Its cold in this house and I've put on my toque I won't turn up the heat 'cause Spring is way past due It's good to be home It's good to be home It's good to be home In the eye of the storm It's good to be home With a flood coming on It's good to be home It's good to be home It's good

If You Don't Want Me Why do you call me I try to help you You just don't get me You're making things up That never even happened to you If I'm so bad dear Why do you call me This was a glad song Now its a sad one I was so good to you Why can't you just talk to me You like to feel pain You want to slander my name If you don't want me Why do you call me I really love you baby, You know that it's true But in the middle of the night Do you wanna cuddle and coo Or beat me baby…..black and blue You like to feel pain You want to slander my name Hey, If you don't want me Why do you call me You're either down low Or flying high somewhere You're putting on a show Or hiding in despair Now I have no clue And baby neither do you If I'm don't want me Why do you call me If I 'm so evil , why do you call me

Back To You 03:05
You've been running from the government  You've been  running from the law You been running  from the repo man  Running your self raw You been telling everybody lies   running from your self You been running us  ragged honey   running round like hell and i've had it now  there's nothing left to do Before you come on back to me  Ya gotta get  back to you You've been walking around here  with a chip or 2 Sitting on your shoulder while you are getting older It don't look good on you You gotta get out now  and find your due Before you get to see me honey You gotta get back to you Back to  you, It's what cha gotta do Before you get on back to me You gotta get back to you Solo There's a lotta people watching you Pushing rocks up a hill Talking bout you loosin your way going for the kill loosin all those people who were best for you Before they come back thru that door  Ya gotta get back to you Back to  you, It's what you gotta do Before you get on back to me You gotta get back to you You had the world by the balls  They said you looked so bold Every one wanted what you had What you touched was gold You were looking so fine back then Every where you went You were in your prime back then But that's all been spent Every body every day opened doors for you Before you get back to those doors You gotta get back to you Back to  you, It's what you gotta do Before you get on back to me You gotta get back to you I'm saying'  we're thru  You know i've been there too Before you come back to my door You gotta get back to you

She got a deal on a hell of a man He was so hot and so cool ! He was just what she was lookin for, kind and good and true Her whole world was lookin pretty sharp It was so NOT out of whack ! Every day was like a big holiday where you never wanna come back He was free and all tuned up he was all ready to go Only cost her some of her time , freedom, money and love So when things turned a little sour And she started doubting his words , She started seein what he lacked She started saying Hey ! I want my money back Its all over honey I want my money back Its all over honey I want my money back The price you pay for what you want Can get you into a jam The heartache, suffering and troubled times Was never in the beautiful plan You start seeing things a different way You start saying , "what have I done?" You start thinking , "where's all the fun?" Its all over honey I want my money back Its all over honey I want my money back
